KAMELOT Guitarist Issues Pre-Tour Update
March 14, 2009Guitarist Thomas Youngblood of American/Norwegian melodic metallers KAMELOT has issued the following update:
"Well, it's less than one week from the European tour kick-off at the sold-out Tilburg, Netherland show on March 20. I can honestly say I have never been so excited about a tour as I am with this one. Once we arrive in Europe early next week, we will finish preparations for the tour and will lay a smack down each and every night. New cities and venues include Tilburg, Netherlands; Cologne, Germany; Dublin, Ireland; Glasgow, Scotland; Leeds, U.K.; Tolouse, France; and Alicante, Spain. We return to some tried and true cities like London, Pratteln and the country we played our first headliner shows, Spain! Te Extraño Mucho! Regardless of the country, KAMELOT fans have a unique and special soul."
Thomas Youngblood and KAMELOT singer Roy Khan last month completed the first of four writing sessions for the band's next full-length album in Sørskogbygda, Norway. One of the final video updates from the cabin where the sessions took place can be viewed below.
As previously reported, KAMELOT has joined the roster of Royal Artist Club (powered by Nokia) where international artists offer fans a glimpse of their own everyday life: exclusive behind-the-curtains, on- and off-stage material. Royal Artist Club is a mobile blog where the members of the band can send videos and pictures via their mobile phones. You can comment on the blog and even suggest ideas what the guys could do with it!
